I created this series as a twist on the iconic “I ❤️ NY” logo — a love letter to the city’s grottier side. It celebrates the grit, grime and everyday frustrations only locals truly know: a discarded mattress on the curb, an overflowing fire hydrant, rats in the trash, or a subway train that never comes. Each post swaps Glaser’s original heart for a local’s version of love — flawed, frayed, and fiercely loyal.
