A Dog’s Wish

For Lincoln’s winter campaign, we created a heartwarming spot about the reunification of a daughter with the family dog. But what started as a theme for a broadcast commercial became a real life story of reuniting dogs with their owners.

In our broadcast commercial, we told the story of the family dog longingly awaiting the return of its former owner for the holidays.

Just as the commercial started airing the California wildfires broke out, separating thousands of dogs from their owners.

To help, we sent in Instagram’s leading dog photographer, The Dogist, to document the lost dogs in their rescue shelters.

The Dogist’s daily feed became, in effect, a virtual “Lost Dog” poster, reaching his large following and drawing attention to the plight of these pets.

The content reached 3.5+ million people and helped reunite families with their beloved pets.
